Mission Statement:
The purpose of the Scotland County Area Committee of 100 is to support the Scotland County Economic Development Corporation in stimulating economic growth by working with community partners to extend incentives beyond local government support for potential investors for the county.
Guidelines:
- Committee of 100 will run as a committee of the Laurinburg/Scotland County Area Chamber of Commerce.
- The Chairman of the Board of the Chamber will choose a Chairman for the group each year.
- Any company who promises to commit an in-kind or monetary donation will become a member of the Committee of 100.
- In-kind or monetary contributions will be used in support of the industrial or retail recruitment efforts determined by the Scotland County Economic Development Corporation.
